Description 

The Bank of Australasia building is located at 116 Brisbane Street Ipswich and until recently was operated as a restaurant / café / bar by a private entity.

Situated in the centre of Ipswich CBD the building has a frontage to Brisbane Street and
D’Arcy Doyle Place and is adjacent to the Ipswich Art Gallery (the restored old town hall).

The Bank of Australasia building is nominated as a Heritage Place on the State Heritage Listings – Circa late 1800.

This tender is for the Lease of the Bank of Australasia building for dining / food retailing purposes.

An adjacent timber deck area is available to accommodate out door dining in conjunction with the use of Bank of Australasia building for dining / food retailing purposes. Two (2) separate secure storage areas also support the premises.

The successful tenderer for the premises will be required to enter into a formal Lease agreement with the Ipswich City Council.

A lease of the premises will be available for a maximum term of seven (7) years and / or a term and option period totalling seven (7) years.

The Bank of Australasia Building will be open for inspection on Tuesday 29 January 2008 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm & Tuesday 5 February 2008 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm
