Description 

GRC is the retail water supplier for the Gladstone Region under the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008 and its service provider infrastructure includes about 24,200 existing water meters.  As part of its process of improving water services GRC wishes to investigate costed options for an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) solution with the aim of:

  • improving identification of, and limiting, water losses
  • reducing incidences of high water usage
  • improving customer experience
  • improving safety for GRC employees and contractors, including meter readers
