‘Sustain’ is one of the four key themes in Southern Downs Regional Council’s visionary document for the next 20 years, Shaping Southern Downs.  A key strategy under this theme is Environmental Management.

Council wishes to develop an Environmental Sustainability Strategy to help guide and empower Southern Downs Regional Council and the broader Southern Downs community to improve environmental management and advance environmental sustainability across the region.

This project will require the successful applicant to develop the Southern Downs Environmental Sustainability Strategy.  This will include consulting with key Council staff, relevant stakeholders and the community, conducting relevant research, and preparing the Strategy.
