The Coastal Hazard Adaptation Strategy (CHAS) has been initiated by LGAQ through the Queensland Local Government Coastal Hazard Adaptation Program (QCoast2100).
Coastal councils have access to funding as part of this program to understand the associated and increasing risks, and to develop resilience strategies.
Note the project brief may be awarded in separable portions or for both portions.
This scope of work covers Phases 3, 4 and 5 of the CHAS and for the purpose of engaging consultants has been broken down into two components which are:
Component One: Engineering – requiring technical expertise in coastal engineering and hazard management; and special analysis capabilities.
Component Two: Stakeholder Communication and Engagement – requiring expertise in presenting technical information in a clear and concise way to the community and stakeholders.
This scope of work may be awarded as separable portions (i.e. engineering component; stakeholder communication & engagement component) or as one body of work.
Interested parties with expertise in both components are encouraged to provide a breakdown of price structure for Component One and Two.
